I never did get around to posting those photo's of the nursery! But I have something even more special to share.
On Wednesday the 7th of April at 3.02am our beautiful baby boy Micah Conor entered the world, weighing 6lb 3oz. After some initial hiccups, with low blood sugar levels and feeding worries he now seems to be thriving.
The past 11 days have been the most amazing time in my life. My heart melts every time I look at him and his Dad is as proud as punch!

Baby Stuff!

I seemed to have misplaced the cord for my camera and as a result can't upload any photo's onto the computer. This is my excuse for not posting any photo's of the nursery as yet. I think I may have to bite the bullet and buy a new cord cord or else nobody will see any photo's of the baby when it arrives!
At the moment I am having to visit the hospital every second day for CTG's and have another ultrasound on Tuesday due to low amniotic fluid levels. I am anticipating that on Tuesday my obstetrician will make a decision about to induce or not to induce. Fingers crossed bub will decide to enter the world themselves in the next couple of days!!!
Anyway while I have been at home alone all night (while my husband has been at the Comedy Festival) I have found numerous wonderful baby delights on the internet!

I have the most wonderful work colleagues. They know me way to well and understand just how fussy I am. Look at the beautiful gifts they gave me today for baby.
1 day of work to go!

4 Days and counting!

No don't get too excited. Baby is still not due for four weeks, however, I only have 4 days of work left. I didn't think it was ever going to come around but I am finally starting to feel on top of things. Bub's room is now complete and I will post some pictures next week when I am a free woman. Lets hope bub doesn't decide to arrive early! Here's a photo of the room before......

Bathroom

This has been my favorite room to watch transform. This used to be part of our old kitchen but is now our new bathroom. My old bathroom was the motivation behind the whole renovation/extension. I hated it, it was tiny and old, I knew I couldn't possibly bring a new born baby home to that. However the bathroom was hard work. The size changed during the building process which meant we had to alter a few things. Of course everything cost way more than I budgeted for. We had to organise our own tiler and you can imagine how difficult that was at Christmas time. In the end we picked the right guy for the job and we are so happy with the end result.
